Trillio ("the App") is a voice recognition application for macOS. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.
Summary
Trillio processes all audio and transcription locally on your device. No audio data, transcription results, or personal information is collected, transmitted, or shared with any third party.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data.
The App does not:
- Record or store audio beyond the current transcription session
- Transmit audio, text, or any other data to external servers
- Use analytics, tracking, or telemetry services
- Collect device identifiers or usage statistics
- Share any data with third parties
On-Device Processing
All speech-to-text processing is performed entirely on your Mac using local machine learning models. Audio data exists only in memory during the active recording session and is discarded after transcription.
Local Data Storage
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

All locally stored data can be deleted by removing the App or its container.
Network Usage
The App connects to the internet only to download machine learning models from Hugging Face Hub (huggingface.co) on first use. After the initial download, the App operates fully offline. No audio or transcription data is ever transmitted over the network.
System Permissions
The App requests the following macOS permissions, each with a specific purpose:

In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time purchase for unlimited access after a free trial period. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework. The Developer does not have access to your payment information.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not collect any personal information from any user.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the changes will be posted here with an updated date. As the App collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
